MRV is dedicated to developing and operating IICS (IZOD IndyCar Series) street events throughout the country. Currently MRV is evaluating 3 cities on both coasts of the United States to determine their suitability to host an IICS event.
Chuck Goldsborough
Chief Executive Officer
Chuck has been involved with racing and sports marketing for over 30 years. He began his racing career as a driver in the early 1980’s with Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). In the early 1990s Chuck moved to International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) with wins at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road America, Mid Ohio, Road Atlanta, Mosport and more. Chuck was solely responsible for the conception, creation and funding procurement of the Lexus Racing effort (Team Lexus). During his 8 years leading the team as CEO, he was responsible for team management, marketing and promotions - ultimately delivering Lexus Racing three championship titles (2002 - 2003). Chuck is also the founder and CEO of Pelican Marketing Group where he has worked with many of Baltimore’s top companies.
Mark Perrone
Promotions & Operations President, Sportserve, Inc.
Mark is the lead advisor to motorsports event promoter groups worldwide with responsibility of venue and event development. He has overseen racing events at every level of NASCAR. He began his 17 year motorsports career as the Executive Director of the Cracker Barrel 500 NASCAR Winston Cup event at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He then served as the Vice President and General Manager at Newman/Haas Racing, Inc. overseeing the Milwaukee Mile racing venue. He also served as a Vice President of the Champ Car World Series, before the merger with the IndyCar Series for several years. During this time, he was responsible for restructuring and rebranding newly acquired and struggling events successfully overseeing a number of these situations. His career in motorsports continues today as President of Sportserve, Inc., which represents clients across multiple sports sectors, including the Kraft Sports Group, owners of the NFL New England Patriots, MLS Revolution and Gillette Stadium, Major League Lacrosse and motorsports promoter groups in a number of cities.
Tom Brennan, Jr.
Chief Financial Officer
Tom was born a car enthusiast and continues to be involved through participation in racing events across the country and owns several personal racing vehicles. In 1987, he started his own company, United Business Services (“UBS”), to provide standard janitorial services to the commercial sector. His expertise in customer service and corporate finance has helped UBS become a multimillion dollar company. Today UBS is a leading regional building service provider and has evolved into a one-stop shop for building maintenance with a selection of services not often matched in the marketplace.
Chris Kaufmann
Marketing & Operations (Principal, Kaufmann Racing and Performance)
Chris started his career in motor racing over 35 years ago as a police officer in the LAPD while simultaneously starting his own racing company, Kaufmann Products & Racing & Advanced Engineering, in 1972 to commercialize his motorsports understanding and experience. In 2001, Chris became Director of Motorsports and Public Relations Manager with Borla Performance Industries, a multimillion dollar performance exhaust aftermarket business. During his 8 year tenure at Borla, he was primarily responsible for press relations while also providing input to marketing, advertising, R&D, promotions, sponsorship, new product development and sales. Now principal owner of Kaufmann Racing and Performance, Chris is responsible for all aspects of the Professional Racing Team. In the 2010 racing season, he served as the Racing Director and Crew Chief for John Rains Drag & LSR Race Programs.
Tony Cotman
(President and Owner, NZR, Inc. Track Design and Operations)
Tony is a business executive with over 20 years of experience in the motor racing industry. He has served as vice president of operations for race teams and sanctioning bodies, including IndyCar; directed the development and implementation of new chassis programs; served as series chief steward; penned rule books; designed, modified and built tracks; and managed events. His company, NZR, is the preferred track designer for IndyCar. Tony himself designs all the tracks with which NZR is involved- including the inaugural 2010 San Paulo, Brazil IRL track
